WHO WE ARE
Kaiser Ranch is a Texas Century Ranch located in Fayette County, Texas near La Grange, Texas centrally located between Austin, Brenham, College Station, Houston, and San Antonio. My great grandmother purchased the ranch back in 1886 when she arrived from Germany. The cattle graze on nearly 500 acres of Texas pasture land. Kaiser Ranch uses Smithville Food Lockers, a Texas based licensed processing facility for processing its beef under inspection for resale. Our beef is aged for 21 days before being vacuum packed and frozen for resale. From birth to your table, this beef is MADE IN TEXAS!
At Kaiser Ranch we believe in continuing education in raising BEEF cattle from programs produced by Texas Agrilife and Texas A&M University. Under current regulations our Texas Beef can only be sold and delivered to Texas residents, but we will be applying for USDA Grass Fed Certification in order to bring Texas Beef to all locations in the United States with overnight shipping options.
GROWING OUR BEEF
We at Kaiser Ranch have been eating our own beef since 2013, and have finally grown our herd to be able to offer the beef we have at our dinner table for sale to your dinner table! We like to keep our heifers for production for next year and make our own steers from the bull calves. So our product is in continual production. We grow coastal hay for drought and winter feeding. We raise mostly Black Angus and Beefmaster cattle. In everything we do, we strive for sustainability. The goal is preserve this ranch for generations to come, and while doing so, do as much as we can to preserve the planet earth for all generations now and in the future.
Our children are active participants in this business and are learning their own skills with raising livestock through the Texas 4H Program. In addition to Texas Beef, we will be adding pork products in the near future, raised here on Kaiser Ranch by our children.
In addition to producing beef, pork and eggs, the girls at Kaiser Ranch are quite the bakers, receiving numerous awards for their baked items: Grand and Reserve Champion Cakes at the Fayette County Jr. Livestock Show and at the Lee County Jr. Livestock Show. Kaiser Ranch Women, of Wendish Descent, have passed down the art of making delicious coffee cakes. A variety of cookies and cupcakes will also be offered! Coming Soon-Best of Department Fayette County Fair Pumpkin Spiced Cookies, just in time for Fall!!
TO YOUR TABLE
We will be offering free local delivery and free delivery to nearby communities with minimum purchases, and offering pre-set packages to make your purchase decision easy! Add more items to fit your family size! We want to be as environmentally friendly as we can be by using recycled materials and/or reusable materials to delivery the beef as well as coordinating deliveries based upon customer location. Check back often as new products are discovered and as we perfect delivery from our farm to your table!
DID YOU SAY EGGS?
Yes, we will be offering ungraded farm eggs by the dozen as well, based upon availability. Kaiser Ranch laying hens are born in Texas, purchased from Ideal Poultry in Cameron, Texas. Chicks are shipped here to Kaiser Ranch, raised to roam free in a large poultry enclosure for their safety. Texas Farm Eggs from a Texas Ranch to your table. Colors range from white, light brown, dark brown, to pastel eggs from our Easter Egger Hens! Always follow safe handling instructions!!
